Dr Chii Akporji

Dr. Chii Akporji is a well-published author, has +20 years’ experience in development finance, played a key role in the start-up of the Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company and is Director: Policy, Corporate Strategy and Business Development. Dr. Akporji served as Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, where she assisted in the execution of several economic reforms, which yielded between 4% and 6% GDP Growth from 2012–2014, and led to the recognition of Nigeria’s economy as the largest in sub-Saharan Africa. She holds an MA and PhD, has executive management certifications from Harvard and Wharton Business School.
