Gustav has extensive academic and practical experience in leadership, strategy, marketing and communication. He was the founder and Professor of the Dept. of Marketing and Communication Management at the University of Pretoria. He taught at some of the foremost universities in South Africa, Europe, USA, Australia and Singapore. He provided leadership and strategy development services to organisations in all industries and to selected public service departments. Gustav is the author and/or co-author and chapter author of numerous articles and nine books. His latest book, Leadership for Strategic Alignment, is the foundation for his work and based on many years of practical experience it provided guidelines that really work. His portfolio of workshops and morning seminars are an invaluable resource to clients. Gustav is accredited as a Practitioner of Excellence by the International Coaches Register.
