Dr. Kefiloe Masiteng
Dr Kefiloe Masiteng is the Acting Secretary of National Planning Commission, in the Presidency. She holds a Phd from Wits University and wrote a book from her thesis titled: The determinants of Poverty and Inequality in South Africa since 1994. She holds a Masters in Public Health from UP specialising in M&E. She was the Deputy Director General for Statistics South Africa for 11 years responsible for censuses and household surveys. She was responsible for Population and social statistics including poverty, employment, population statistics, demography, health and vital statistics and M&E. She worked in the Presidency as Chief Director for Governance and Administration and Project Manager for Executive Information Management System (EIMS), where she conceptualised Government Wide Monitoring and Evaluation System and POA system in 2005. She has also worked in the Department of Health and Housing in the area M&E and Information Management Systems.
Her passion is Youth Development.
