Dr Nolulamo Lulu Gwagwa

Dr Nolulamo (‘Lulu‘) Gwagwa CEO Lereko Investment, has a Masters degree in Town and Regional Planning from the University of Natal, an MSc (cum laude) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a PhD from University College, London. She serves as a non-executive director on the boards of FirstRand, Aurecon, Sun International and Massmart. She was a finalist in the 2001 Nedbank Business Woman of the Year awards. Lulu was the Deputy DG in the Department of Public Works and completed a five-year term as CEO of the Independent Development Trust. Lulu has also served on various government commissions. She is the founder and chairperson of Mhakazi Trust that supports youth in KZN.
