Elvis Leyian Mashua

Elvis Leyian Mashua has over three years’ experience working on community development programs with an international NGO in Kenya. He is currently an entrepreneurship trainer, mentoring youth and helping them establish small businesses. Elvis Leyian Mashua is also the founder of Greensket, a company which empowers farmers in rural Kajiado County. Greensket seeks to regulate the market prices for farm produce, end exploitation from middlemen, train farmers on modern farming practices, and create job and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth. He believes that there are a lot of opportunities in agribusiness. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Elvis plans to continue empowering his community, specifically youth, by encouraging them pursue agribusiness.
