Emeka Emmanuel Kennedy Nwokedi has five years of experience in public (fire) safety. Emeka Emmanuel Kennedy Nwokedi is an Assistant Superintendent of Fire at the Federal Fire Service where he focuses on designing, organizing and coordinating training capacity building activities for fire safety personnel. In 2016, Emeka received the IFE Level 4 Certificate Godiva award for the best international candidate from the Institution of Fire Engineers, UK. He currently is completing a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. Emeka is committed to building a responsible and performance-driven public service where purpose, accountability, meritocracy, workforce development, staff welfare and job activities in the best interest of the nation are given top priority. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Emeka seeks to boost productivity and commitment in public service by creating a platform that will recognize government workers with innovative and purpose-driven contributions and hopes to promote job advancement through merit, qualification, and performance versus nepotism, bias, and political affiliation.
