Enoch Owusu Sekyere

Enoch Owusu Sekyere has over 5 years’ experience as a Corrections Officer in the Ghana Prisons Service. He is a social worker by profession and focuses on counseling inmates and developing their capacities for social functioning. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Philosophy degree in Social Work from the University of Ghana. Enoch Owusu Sekyere is committed to the reformation and rehabilitation of inmates in prison custody, as well as their smooth integration into society upon discharge through continued after-care services. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Enoch hopes to institute more rehabilitative and reformative programs in the prison, conduct evidence-based research, champion restorative justice, and forge partnerships with individuals, groups and organizations with the goal of bringing into fruition the developmental agenda of the Ghana Prisons Service.
