Enver Daniels
Enver Daniels was appointed as the Deputy Chairperson of the Competition Tribunal by President Zuma with effect from 1 January 2017.
He was admitted as an attorney in 1980 and is registered as a practising attorney with the Cape Law Society. Shortly after the democratic elections which were held on 27 April 1994, he was appointed as the special adviser to the then Minister of Justice, the late Dr Dullah Omar. He held that position until July 1997 when he was appointed as the Chief State Law Adviser to the Government of the Republic of South Africa. He occupied that post until 31 December 2016.
Enver Daniels graduated with a B.A. (Law) degree from the University of the Western Cape and a B.Proc degree from the University of South Africa. He also holds an LLM degree from the University of the Western Cape.
