Eric Toroma Sika
Eric Toroma Sika is an agripreneur with over five years’ experience in various fields of the agricultural sector, including two years in empowering disenfranchised young African adults in agribusiness. Currently, Eric is the Communication, ICT, and M&E officer for the IITA-Kalambo Youth Agripreneurs (IKYA) where he focuses on training and mentoring young graduates while writing and submitting proposals for disenfranchised youths. Eric Toroma Sika also focuses on the timely implementation of IKYA’s activities and insures they are results oriented. He also volunteers in his local community where he motivates and trains unemployed youths. Eric holds a Master’s degree in Agronomy from Kenyatta University. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he plans to continue his work in reducing youth unemployment through agribusiness with a focus on engaging demobilized young men and raped young women in Agribusiness for sustainable peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
