Eric Uwitonze Mahoro
Eric Uwitonze Mahoro has seven years’ work experience in civil society in the fields of governance, human rights, peacebuilding, and reconciliation, with a focus on project development, implementation, advocacy and overall management. Currently, Eric is working as the director of programs for Never Again Rwanda (www.neveragainrwanda.org) where he oversees the planning and implementation of their human rights and peacebuilding activities, as well as other work for the organization. Being a member of the senior management committee, Eric Uwitonze Mahoro is also involved in the development of sustainability plans for the organization. Eric has also worked as a teacher in secondary school and a community media reporter. Eric is completing a master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Rwanda. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Eric will continue to serve as an advocate for human rights and continue to engage in the peacebuilding work.
