Erick Asifiwe Senga

Erick Asifiwe Senga is a mining professional with over six years’ working experience in the copper, cobalt, and gold extraction industry. Currently, Erick Asifiwe Senga is a Process Supervisor for Twangiza Gold Mine, a Banro Corporation subsidiary in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Asifiwe holds a master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. With a passion for business and entrepreneurship. Asifiwe hopes in the near future to develop mining projects that contribute to the development of his community. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Asifiwe plans to continue his work in the mining industry, with particular focus on empowering Congolese youth to invest in mining projects.
