Esther Adhiambo Ogol (Essie)
Esther Adhiambo Ogol has over seven years’ experience in community development with an emphasis on water, sanitation, and hygiene. She is currently a research consultant, working on water and sanitation program projects for the World Bank. Recently, she worked as a team leader in Kenya on an innovative program, Football for Water (F4W – Football for WASH), initiated by a Dutch consortium in Kenya, Mozambique and Ghana. She’s pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration at Daystar University in Kenya and is keen on pursuing a Master’s degree in Water Policy and Management, with the aim of being a specialist. Esther Adhiambo Ogol holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Community Development from Daystar University in Kenya and upon completion of the Fellowship plans to continue advocating for empowerment of women and children with the ultimate goal of achieving safe water, sanitation, and hygiene practices in rural areas for sustainable development.
