Ethel Delali Cofie
Ethel Cofie is an IT and Strategy Consultant with over 10 years of experience working with innovative and transformational systems and products. Her work focuses on providing services such as product solutions management, business analysis, software development, service management, strategy development and implementation. She has international experience working on a variety of projects including the Bill and Melinda Gates Mobile Technology for Health project, the Ford Foundation’s Election Monitoring project for Nigeria, and serving as head of Commercial Solutions at Vodafone. Ethel Delali Cofiel runs a monthly series titled Women in Technology, which is an informal networking group focused on education and enhancing women’s careers by sharing experiences and lessons learned in members’ career development. Upon completion of the Washington Fellowship, Ethel plans to launch a social media project to help boost and increase tourism to Ghana and create an accelerator venture capital fund to help develop entrepreneurship in Africa. Ethel was one of 100 Fellows competitively selected to participate in an 8-week internship in the United States following the Mandela Washington Fellowship academic institute. She interned at AppfricaFund in August-September 2014.
