Fareean Mwende

Fareean Mwende has over seven years’ experience in community development. Currenly, Fareean is a Program Facilitator at Digital Opportunity Trust, where she focuses on training, mentoring, and coaching young entrepreneurs in her community. Fareean Mwende holds a bachelor’s degree in Community Resource Management and is committed to empowering community leaders through training, sensitization, and awareness creation. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Fareean plans to establish a non-governmental organization which will focus on social, economic and academic empowerment of the youth in Kenya and Africa as a whole.
