Francesco Soldi

Head of Relationship Management | Moody’s Investors Service

Francesco leads MIS Relationship Management team for Southern Europe, responsible to drive Moody’s commercial strategy and MIS business in the region. Francesco has 20 years of experience in the financial markets building highperforming teams and developing commercial strategies to drive growth and help customers make better business decisions. Francesco joined Moody’s in 2004 in the Sub-Sovereign Group as rating analyst. In his career within the rating group Francesco covered various jurisdictions as rating analyst and then team manager.

In 2014, Francesco joined the Commercial group as business specialist to consolidate and grow Moody’s business in the EMEA public sector, and lately he expanded his role to cover all Fundamental franchises within Southern Europe as key relationship manager and sales leader. Though his career at MIS, Francesco led several strategic business initiatives and projects on analytical, regulatory and commercial fields, and led large multinational teams including MIS Sales Support team for EMEA region.

Based in Milan, Italy, Francesco is active member of Moody’s EMEA LGTA+ Employee Resource Group (ERG) and is engaged in Moody’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Francesco holds a degree in Political Science and International Economics from the University of Turin and has executive education from Said Business School, University of Oxford.
