Gabriel A Gomez

Gabriel A Gomez is a chartered accountant with over 6 years’ post-qualification experience in finance, audit, internal control and administration. Gabriel A Gomez currently serves as the Finance Manager at Gambia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (GIEPA). In his current role, Gabriel is responsible for overseeing the staff under his purview, the day-to-day financial operations, preparation of budgets and budgetary control, preparation of cash flow projections, quarterly management and annual financial accounts. Gabriel is the Founder and President of GAM-MINDS Foundation, a youth-led organization to Motivate, Inspire, Nurture, Develop and Support (MINDS) youths in education, entrepreneurship and education. He is also the founder of Agro Inspire Farms, a Moringa and Getropha initiative that seeks to provide nutritional supplement and biofuel for his community and beyond. After the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Gabriel intends to invest in community libraries with innovation hubs to spur literacy and entrepreneurship as well as expand his business. Stayed in Africa.
