Gino Fabbri

Gino Fabbri is an extraordinarily versatile and entertaining comedian/MC who performs throughout South Africa. Gino plays different very likable and hilarious characters throughout the evening and integrates his live, off-the cuff wit into proceedings, often as MC or to assist to liven up awards presentations and to turn normally boring proceedings into hilarious interactive entertainment.

He selects up to 6 of the most appropriate characters out of his range of 20 different personas for the evening and performs specialised stand-up comedy and music routines in these eccentric guises.

Characters can also be tailored to incorporate function themes and scripts. With over 3 hours of additional stand-up comedy on tap and several hit shows and glowing press reviews under his belt, Gino can also be presented both solo and alongside Donna in a focused comedy environment.

Gino often performs with fellow singer, actress and comedian Donna Africa – in this duo format, some of the characters play off each other and the entertainment then can also offer a sophisticated and high impact cabaret component and an additional hour long dance party.

Integrated into his act are a number of unique show-stopping specialty acts which create wow moments between his comedy characters, including his Evolution of Dance in which he performs 50 dance styles in 7 minutes, his Evolution of Drums in which he plays the greatest and most recognisable drum riffs – to playing a Toaster with a pair of forks!
