Glenn Mbah Afungchwi
Glenn Mbah Afungchwi has over five years’ experience in the health care sector. Currently, he is the childhood cancer program manager for the Cameroon Baptist Convention Hospitals where he focuses on psycho-social care for patients and their families and promotes childhood cancer awareness and advocacy in Cameroon. He has led the creation and development of support groups for parents and survivors of childhood cancer, empowering them to undertake economic activities to support their families and other children with cancer. As a staff representative, Glenn rallies colleagues to stay focused on his organization’s mission of providing quality health care to all. Glenn Mbah Afungchwi Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and is currently studying online for a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Roehampton, London. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he plans to improve on his work in childhood cancer advocacy and promoting dedication among health care workers.
