Herve Lehani Magaribi

Herve Lehani Magaribi

Herve Lehani Magaribi has more than six years’ experience in leadership and organizational development. He is currently the Executive Assistant within the Congolese Diplomatic Academy of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He manages the analysis office of bi-multilateral programs and is teaching English to his peer junior diplomats. Herve also acts as advisor of the DR Congo Panel of Experts on the African Union with a focus on peace and security in Africa. Herve Lehani Magaribi holds a BA in International Relations from Bukavu Official University, with a focus on diplomacy and regional integration. He also has a community development diploma from Kalundu College in Uvira. He has volunteered with the Civil Society, the ICRC, and MONUSCO. Herve is a motivated change-maker with a commitment to share his 2017 MWF and U.S experience to support both the Congolese Diplomatic Academy and the Pan African Center for Education towards Development (CEPANED), an agency he recently founded. His organization is aiming to give education opportunities to young people through the On the Damascus Way Initiative (On-DWI). The ON-DWI is a CEPANED rebuilding program. Herve speaks English, French, Swahili and Kivira.
