Isaac Gyamfi Korang
Isaac Gyamfi Korang is a young professional teacher who has worked for seven years in the Ghana Education Service. He currently teaches children with special needs, where he focuses on teaching as a medium between children with disabilities and their families. He is also in charge of adolescent reproductive health education for pupils with disabilities. Isaac Gyamfi Korang volunteers in educating his neighbors on the need to accept children with disabilities, helping them on reproductive health issues, and equipping the youth with civic rights and leadership. Isaac’s skills lie in monitoring and evaluation, report writing and promoting tolerance at work. Isaac holds a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of Education, Winneba. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Isaac plans to start a foundation to advocate for quality education for the marginalized and the establishment of vocational training centers to allow children with disabilities to become independent.
