Isaac Kimunio

Isaac Kimunio lectures in the School of Economics, Kenyatta University. Isaac is currently pursuing his PhD (Economics) degree at Kenyatta University. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the same university. Isaac has  also done various other courses such as advanced excel, presentation skills and communication skills among others. Isaac has a good working knowledge of Stata and Eviews statistical analysis softwares. Isaac has a strong desire for research and teaching and his research interests are on monetary, financial economics and econometrics. Isaac is also a member of The Financial Economics Association.
Isaac’s work experience includes having worked with Barclays Bank of Kenya for more than six years in various departments. He has also worked as a trainer of trainers with the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics and with Mukuru Slums Development Projects (MSDP). At MSDP, he worked on a project funded by OXFAM UK using mobile money transfer to help the urban poor.
