Izuchukwu Michael Offiaeli

Izuchukwu Michael Offiaeli works in Nigeria’s public sector as a Public Health and Nutrition Programs Manager. He holds a masters’ degree in Public Health. Izuchukwu has worked for over seven years in designing and implementing evidence-based, high-impact, cost-effective, community-based primary health/nutrition care approaches (delivered at scale) to improve outcomes for the population, especially women and children. Izuchukwu Michael Offiaeli is passionate about the public sector accountability, being a major driver for sustainable economic productivity; improved health and educational outcomes; and investments in human capital. Consequently, Izuchukwu founded ONE Integrity Forum, Nigeria (OIFoN), where he leads a vibrant movement of young committed bureaucrats and public servants working to raise the bar for transparency and accountability, ethics and good governance in Nigeria’s agencies and institutions. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Izuchukwu plans to utilize new-gained insights in empowering and working with his team towards a more rapid progress at strengthening our weak institutions and systems.
