Jackson Mabokgwane

Jackson Mabokgwane was born in Polokwane. Being a product of the School of Excellence from 2001 until 2006, Jackson signed his first professional contract at Mamelodi Sundowns in 2006. He played his first PSL game in 2007 against Platinum Stars and was awarded Man Of The Match.

The goalkeeper went on loan to Platinum Stars before joining Bidvest Wits and then moved on to Mpumalanga Black Aces. Jackson was signed by Orlando Pirates during the 2016-2017 season. His ambition at the club is to win trophies and the CAF Champions League with Pirates. A leader and a team player, his childhood favourite goalkeeper was André Arendse.
