Jacqualine Kowa Ruddick

Jacqualine Kowa Ruddick has twelve years of experience in the NGO sector, having worked as a social behavior change coordinator for a USAID-funded HIV project for adolescents. Currently, Jacqualine Kowa Ruddick is the Mombasa County coordinator for Plan International. She offers technical support to development partners to ensure quality programming for orphans and vulnerable children, especially those living with HIV. The programs help economically empower their families. Jacky holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing from Kenya Methodist University. She has been affected by HIV; therefore she is motivated to ensure that adolescent girls and young women are empowered and educated. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Jacky plans to strengthen her adolescent programming and continue her project that supports fifty young women in becoming economically stable and informed on healthy choices.
