Jade Hübner
TV presenter, model, actress, MC, entrepreneur, singer, adrenalin junkie, and part-time Bcom student, Jade Hübner is proving to be a multi-talented woman with a dream of taking over the entertainment industry in a big way. Having started her working career at the tender age of 15 as a model, maths tutor and waitress, Jade knew that only hard work and sheer determination would ultimately help her reach her dreams.
After matriculating in 2010, Jade started her tertiary education at the University of Cape Town working towards a degree in Business Science whilst also working to cover her tuition fees. Deep within her, however, she knew that entertainment was her true calling. With that in mind, in 2015 she competed in Presenter Search on 3: South Africa’s biggest televised reality presenter search. Putting her philosophy of hard work and determination to the test, Jade went from strength to strength during the competition and ultimately won a place as a presenter on South Africa’s longest running and most prestiges lifestyle television programme Top Billing on SABC 3.
There is, however, a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to Jade Hübner. When she isn’t interviewing local and international celebrities, hosting events as an MC, modelling, acting, studying or experiencing a new adrenalin-packed sport, she’s competing in marathons and triathlons. In short, and whenever possible, Jade is doing something adventurous and out of the box. “I love challenging myself; I watch, I observe and I do. I get a rush out of doing things!” adds Jade.
When not hard at work or play, the Cape Town-based beauty dedicates her time to humanitarian work and actively participates in and volunteers for a range of charities and NGO’s such as the Peninsula School Feeding Association, the Reach for a Dream Foundation and the Save the Rhino campaign. Jade has also participated in Pride Factor youth workshops as a motivational speaker. In October 2016, she participated in the SPCA’s #CelebritiesGoWildForWildlife campaign during which the public was encouraged to donate to the organisation and dare her and music duo Locnville to complete one crazy dare. The final dare was a paraglide over the Atlantic Seaboard in Cape Town…and Jade relished every minute of it!
After all is said and done, Jade aims to inspire and motivate those around her to think and act outside the box and enjoy their lives to the fullest.
