Jamie Bartlett
Jamie Bartlett is a South African actor who was born in Maidenhead in Berkshire, England to a South African mother and a British father. Bartlett lived in the United Kingdom with his parents where his mother was a resident. His family subsequently moved to South Africa when Bartlett was a young boy.
Jamie Bartlett attended Western Province Preparatory Junior School. After that he attended Rondebosch Boys High Schools in Cape Town and then moved onto St Stithians Boys College in Johannesburg. Bartlett finished his schooling career at Bryanston High School. After high school he attended the University of Cape Town (UCT) where he trained in speech and drama. On completion of his undergraduate degree at UCT he enrolled for postgraduate masters classes with Peter Bridgemont at Chrysalis Theatre Acting School in London.
Jamie Bartlett married Camilla Waldman who is famed for her role as Anne de Villiers of the South African TV soap opera Generations where the couple had a son Hector, but the two later divorced.
