Jannie Durand

Mr Jannie Durand was appointed as a non-executive director of Remgro Limited South Africa on 15 February 2016. Prior to the combination of the businesses of the Company (then Al Noor Hospitals Group plc) and Mediclinic International Limited in 2016, he served as a non-executive director of Mediclinic International Limited from 2012.

Jannie Durand joined the Rembrandt group in 1996 and was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Remgro Limited in 2012, which holds a 44.56% interest in the Company. In his current role, with more than 20 years’ experience in the investment industry, he acts as a non-executive director of various companies, including Distell Group Limited, FirstRand Limited, RCL Foods Limited and RMI Holdings Limited.
