Jean Jacques Stephane Abe has two years of experience in marketing, specializing in launching digital products. As a go-to-market specialist at the MTN Group, a South Africa-based telecommunications company, he works on customer experience design, go-to-market strategy, and communications plans for digital products. He previously worked as a junior consultant at Deloitte, one of the Big Four consulting firms. Jean Jacques Stephane Abe is also a marketing blogger and the founder of Techtrends by JJ, a collaborative platform exploring digital marketing and business strategy in Africa. He is part of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers community and a partner at Afrikadoc, an Ivorian online medical care scheduling service. He co-founded and volunteers for Les Caravanes du Volontariat, a nonprofit organization promoting volunteerism in Cote d’Ivoire. Jean Jacques holds double master’s degrees in Statistics and Economics. He is driven by his commitment to sharing business advice to empower local entrepreneurs and support their business decisions. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Jean Jacques plans to use information communication technology to establish a start-up network that will aid entrepreneurs in selling their products outside their home country. The network will also provide them with advice and training.
