Jeanette Akinyi Dawa

Jeanette is a medical doctor from Kenya with postgraduate training in public health. She currently works at the School of Medicine of the University of Nairobi managing a CDC-funded project established to support health care worker training in Kenya. Jeanette Akinyi Dawa is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in vaccine epidemiology and is a 2015 recipient of the Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA) fellowship that seeks to support doctoral training in Africa. The Mandela Washington Fellowship will enhance her skills in public management in order to improve her capacity to manage grants within her home institution.
