Aspen Technology Vice-President and General Manager for the Metals and Mining Business Unit, Jeannette McGill has a PhD from the Colorado School of Mines and is a Top 100 Most Inspirational Women in mining alumni. Her extensive career covers mineral exploration, mine production, applied research and advisory. As a corporate intrapreneur she has been responsible for the growth of key mining industry business verticals for both Telstra and now Aspen Technology. She is driven by supporting technological change in the mining sector making operations more efficient and sustainable. Jeannette is also a successful high-altitude mountaineer and is the first South African woman to climb Manaslu (8163m) and Dhaulagiri (8167m)
