Joel Mayimbi Nzuzi

Joel Mayimbi Nzuzi is an IT security expert with over 6 years of experience and a tech entrepreneur passionate about science, the environment, and technologies. Currently, Joel Mayimbi Nzuzi is a Managing Director at First Tech, a company which has a mission to bring digital transformation and IT security across the Democratic Republic of the Congo through their services and trainings. In addition, he is helping in a project related to transforming clay materials to bricks (kwilubriques) and another project of planting trees in the city. Joel holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Bangalore University of India and IT Expert certifications in Networking Security and Data Center (Cisco Certified Inter-network Expert), a field in which he has trained more than 400 people. Joel is driven by his commitment to entrepreneurship because he wants everyone to transform their ideas into business as this will create more jobs in all fields and reduce poverty. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he plans to continue his work on technology and transformation of natural resources found in Africa to uplift the economy.
