Johannes Oula Odhiambo
Johannes Oula Odhiambo has over twelve years of professional experience in education, technology, customer experience, and research. Currently, Johannes is the founder and CEO at M-Lesson, where he leads the development of a free SMS-based mobile learning service that helps pupils unlock the magic of learning and earn skills through educational instruction. Prior to founding M-Lesson, Johannes led an instructional oversight program at Bridge International Academies, where he supported over 5,000 teachers providing quality education to 100,000 pupils across Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, and India. Johannes Oula Odhiambo is motivated to see an equitable distribution of learning resources to pupils irrespective of their location or financial background. Despite the alarmingly low poor performance of primary school pupils in Kenya, Johannes aims to improve the learning outcomes of 250 million pupils in sub-Saharan Africa and other developing countries upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship.
