John Daly

John Daly was appointed Chairman of the Board on 20 April 2018. John held various executive leadership positions over the course of 20 years at British American Tobacco plc (‘BAT’). His most recent positions at BAT were chief operating officer (2010-2014) and regional director for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong (2004-2010).

John is also a former director of Reynolds American Inc., a US public company owned 42% by BAT. Prior to his time with BAT, John held various sales and marketing positions with Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pennwalt Corporation and Schering-Plough. In addition, John was appointed chairman of the board of Britvic in September 2017, where he has been a non-executive director since January 2015, and is also a non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee of G4S plc. John is based in London and graduated with an MBA from University College Dublin.
