John Wallace has a very strong strategic ability, which has been invaluable to the group. John Wallace is able to identify opportunities in markets and establish businesses which can capitalise on these opportunities and enhance value for the group. He has a particular ability to effect change and repair problem entities. John has applied this expertise in the honing of the Manufacturing business portfolio and in leading the disposal of the discontinued Construction Materials business. John is an active member of the group’s strategic development team.
