Josephine Nkurunziza
Josephine Nkurunziza is a Gender and Accountability Specialist with over 10 years’ experience in program management of girls and women’s issues. She has counseled non-profit associations and government entities in girls and women’s programming. Josephine has a Master’s degree in Gender Analysis in Economics from Makerere University, Kampala and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the National University of Rwanda. Josephine Nkurunziza has four years experience in girls’ empowerment through mentorship and community engagement at Girl Effect Rwanda. After the MWF, Josephine is planning to apply civic leadership knowledge, skills, and experience to empower young Rwandan women to become change-makers in their own communities.
