Kelvin Balogun
Kelvin Balogun is President of The Coca-Cola Company’s South and East Africa business unit. From 2013 to 2016, Balogun was President of Coca-Cola Central, East and West Africa where he led a team covering 30 countries in East Africa, West Africa and the Horn of Africa.
After beginning his career with Accenture, Balogun joined The Coca-Cola Company in October 1999 as a Strategic Planning and Business Development Manager for Coca-Cola Nigeria. From there, he moved to positions of increasing responsibility in Kenya, Tanzania and other nations before becoming Strategy Director for Coca-ColaEast and Central Africa, overseeing strategy development across 27 markets.
He then became General Manager for the East Africa and Mozambique franchise, leading Coca-Cola’s market development in Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Mozambique and later served as Managing Director for Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria and an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta.
