Kenneth Nkusi
Kenneth Nkusi has three years of experience in architectural practice. Kenneth has been working together with Sharon Davis Design, an international company based in America, and Extreme Contract Ltd., a local company, to build Rwanda through designing and constructing various sustainable projects Currently, Kenneth Nkusi is designing and constructing early childhood development centers/Kindergartens for his community. These projects are raising awareness of education rights for all in the Rwandan community and also educating parents how to provide their children with balanced diets.Kenneth holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from University of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology where he focused on enhancing designing and construction skills. Kenneth has a passion for art, currently painting at Inema Art Center, one of the outstanding art centers in Rwanda. From Inema, he coordinates volunteer services to teach painting to young children in his community. Kenneth Nkusi believes that this program stimulates creativity in young children that they will retain into adulthood. Upon Completion of Mandela Washington Fellowship, Kenneth plans to continue his work helping to build the education system of his community through his professions of art and architecture.
