Kevin Mureithi Maina

Kevin Mureithi Maina is an environmental engineer with extensive knowledge of Kenya‘s waste management sector. Kevin Mureithi Maina holds a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Technology from UNESCO-IHE, Netherlands, and a bachelor’s degree in Science from Maseno University, Kenya. Kevin leads Eco Blocks and Tiles, a startup that recycles different waste materials to produce high quality, affordable and eco-friendly building products. He aspires to be a game changer in waste management in Africa and promotes youth inclusion across all sectors. Upon completion of his studies in the US, he plans to empower young people from his country by engaging in social entrepreneurship as a way of sparking change in the community.
