Khuli Chana

Khuli Chana has just recently produced his 6th video latest music video and radio single “Tswa Daar” where he selected all 60 extras from his Facebook Fan Page to be featured on the video.

Khuli Chana has put together Motswako Originator Deluxe which was released December 2011, consisting of his album Motswako Originator with two additional songs featuring HHP and Tuks and a documentary that is unfolding the history of Motswako, hip hop industry and his success. This new hot single featured up and coming Motswako sensation Notshi.

This young emcee is fast becoming one of South Africa’s Hip-Hop elite; previously taking home the Best Newcomer award at the 2009 Channel O Music Video Awards as well as Best Song of the Year for the track “Tswakstikem” at the Hype Music Awards. Recently he won the South African Traditional Music Award (SATMA)for Best Vernacular Hip Hop album and was nominated for Channel O Music Video Awards as the Most Gifted Video of the Year Award for his song “No More Hunger” and the Most Gifted African Southern Video.

These two singles; “Tswakstikem” and “Sthandwa Sam” featuring Towdee dominated the airwaves. A remix of the song, “No More Hunger”, has also been requested by Action Aid South Africa to be featured on the Hunger Free Campaign music compilation which features artists from around the continent. Khuli Chana has opened the stage for Drake SA tour.
