Kyela Happiness Gadi
Kyela Happiness Gadi is a development practitioner with seven years’ experience in designing and managing crosscutting development interventions on sub-national, national and international levels. She’s the center and programs manager at Center for Policy Research and Development Solutions. Kyela Happiness Gadi manages diverse interventions in strengthening the capacities of institutions to better deliver on their development objectives. At the UN Sustainable Development Summit in New York 2015, she supported the Kaduna State Government to convene a policy dialogue on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at sub-national level. Kyela co-founded Jory Foundation, an NGO and platform that empowers young people to be drivers of change within their communities. She holds a Master of Science in Environment and Sustainable Development from University College London, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Upon completion of the Fellowship, Kyela plans to support governments, development partners, and youth in the implementation of SDGs. Stayed in Nigeria.
