Lady Du

Born and raised in Vosloorus, Duduzile Ngwenya, Lady Du started DJ’ing at age 11; playingalongside heavyweights such as Dj Fresh and Dj Cleo. She began singing later after living in America for 3 years. Outside of music, she also has Business Management, Anatomy & Physiology and Skin Therapy qualifications.

Career highlights
• Worked with Dj Clock (AMPM), Dj Mshega, House Afrika, Trademark, Afrotainment
(Dj Tira), Ladi AudioSoul, Houseville, Problem Child and Infinite Boyz.
• Currently working on a DJ compilation album under 999 Music
• Has released 3 videos
• Featured on Dj Clock’s “4th Tick” album
• House Afrika album feature
• Featured on the AMPM compilation
• Appears on Trademark’s current album
• TV appearances include a DJ slot on LiveAMP and performing at SABC boxing
matches at Carnival City
• Performed at the City of Johannesburg New Year’s Eve 2015 event in Newtown
• Touring with the 999 Music/Can Do National tour.
• Performing at the Durban July in 2015
• Resident DJ and co-host on Ukhozi FM with Chilly M
