Lalata Neufville-Wei

Lalata Neufville-Wei has three years of experience in the field of public financial management. Lalata is currently an accountant at the Ministry of Education, where she does pre-audits, raises payments for various departments, and prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. She also prepares reports for funds donated to the Ministry of Education by international donor partners. Lalata holds a master’s degree in Public Financial Management from the University of Liberia. With her desire to empower people, she envisages becoming a business woman who gives out micro-finance loans to enterprising young people who have the passion to improve their lives. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Lalata Neufville-Wei will continue to work in the educational sector and will at the same time pursue her ambition of becoming a business woman and empowering the youth.
