Lauren is an experienced HR professional who has developed her expertise throughout an 18-year career in the professional consulting and information technology arenas, back by a National Diploma in Marketing and the current finalisation of a BComm degree in Industrial & Organisational Psychology through Unisa.

Her unique combination of business acumen and HR know-how position her to provide innovative HR services and agile strategic people direction.

Having joined BCX in 2006, Lauren has an in-depth knowledge of the organisation. She is responsible for the full end-to-end strategic HR management, inclusive of HR Business Partnering and specialist HR centres of excellence.

As the central point of contact for all people related matters for the business units of BCX, Lauren and the HR team ensure best practice for all HR spheres, including employee relations, employee wellness, reward & remuneration, talent & performance management, talent acquisition, learning & development, business partnering & generalist functions, employee engagement and HR metrics.

The HR team play a pivotal role in shaping a positive people-oriented culture across the business units.

Before joining BCX, she held the various HR service orientated roles at Deloitte Consulting, PAG Staffing Services and Communicate Personnel Group.

Lauren is passionate about making a difference to the lives of people around her, to the people in her team, and within the business areas she serves.
