Lee Mark du Preez

Lee du Preez is a self-starter and born entrepreneur. A consultant in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment space for a number of years, where he is MD of BEE Novation, he oversees the business growth and strategic direction and sits on a number of boards including the Pietermaritzburg Children’s Home, Business Fighting Crime, and Enactus UKZN. Lee is a keen aviator with a private pilot’s license and coming from a musical family he also plays a few musical instruments. Lee is a member of Africa’s only sustainable business incubator, Raizcorp, where his entrepreneurial acumen is refined by a number of renowned business guides. Upon completion of the Fellowship, Lee plans to continue his work with Enactus and the Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Business Youth Forum, where he passes his business knowledge on to other aspiring entrepreneurs. He will use the networks created through the Fellowship to support these objectives.
