Lefa Mokotjo

Lefa Mokotjo has over 30 years experience working in the Government of Lesotho in different positions from Directorship to Principal Secretary. The ministries in which he worked include Agriculture and Food Security, Planning and Economic Development, Trade and Industry, Employment and Labour, Home Affairs, Public Safety and Chieftainship Affairs. He was also recently involved in the Digital Migration Project in the Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology. He was an Ambassador of Lesotho to the People’s Republic of China in 1999 to 2016.

He obtained training in Corporate Governance, IT Governance, International Financial Reporting Standards and Economics of Regulation. He holds a M.A. Economics from Washington State University and a B.A Economics from the National University of Lesotho. Mr. Mokotjo is currently a member of the Lesotho PostBank Board and a member of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, Board Information Technology Committee and Finance and Credit Committee.
