Lena M. Militis
Lena M. Militisis the bank’s Company Secretary. She previously served the bank as Head of the Legal Department for 11 years. She is a lawyer who obtained her law degree from the University of Saint Louis in Brussels and got her master from University of Toulouse I.
In 2004, she was recruited as Legal Advisor attaché to the cabinet of Minister of Finances and Economic Planning in this role her job involved ensuring that terms of contracts are respected and would take part in negotiations to ensure conformity to national regulations. Lena M. Militis then moved to the position of Treasury Counselor within the same Ministry whereby her main responsibilities included advising the Secretary General and Secretary to the Treasury on all issues related to the Treasury with legal implications, public contracts, international conventions with implications on public finance and creating obligations for Rwanda.
