Leungo Sebangane

Leungo Sebangane has over eight years of experience in hospital social work practice, specifically offering psychosocial support to patients and their caregivers. Currently, Leungo is working in Nyangabgwe hospital.Leungo holds a Master’s degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of the Western Cape in South Africa as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Botswana. Leungo’s skills and interests are in the areas of adolescent development, effective parenting practices, and the family structure. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Leungo plans to continue her work in advocating for and enhancing the psychosocial wellbeing of individuals as well as strengthening families and communities.
