Liana Nzabampema

Liana Nzabampema

Liana Nzabampema has over five years of international development experience, with a focus on East Africa. She has extensive experience working with youth and women and she focuses her career on development policies and nonprofit management. Currently, Liana works at the Segal Family Foundation as a programs officer where she manages due diligence on potential and current partners in Francophone Africa, and builds Segal Family Foundation’s capacity support programs. Liana Nzabampema also volunteers in different youth networks in Burundi where she works towards enhancing young people’s capacities to take responsibility in their lives. Liana completed her master’s degree in International Community Development at Victoria University in Melbourne, where she was awarded a scholarship by the Australian government. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Liana plans to continue her work in the field of community development with a focus on increasing youth productivity and improving the well-being of communities in East Africa.
