Lombola Gama Lombola

Lombola Lombola is the co-founder and Managing Director of Bamboo Express, a firm that uses bamboo for furniture production. Underpinning his business ethos is capacity building and mentorship of aspiring young entrepreneurs. Prior to this position, he worked for an organizational management and development consulting firm serving as an Associate Consultant for three years. In this role, he was responsible for developing proposals, supervising data collection, analysis, interpretation and report writing. He has a degree in Agriculture and Applied Economics from the University of Malawi. Upon his return from the Washington Fellowship, he plans to inspire young entrepreneurs through motivational and business talks, mentor aspiring entrepreneurs in the bamboo sector by helping them develop and establish their ventures as allies of bamboo express, and provide internship opportunities to young people.
