Luise Taakambadhala Mwanyangapo

Luise Taakambadhala Mwanyangapo is employed as a Project Manager at Fesmedia Africa, the media project of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. She is also the founder of Tuuthikeni Market, a monthly initiative that was started in 2010 with the aim of promoting and showcasing innovative small business start-ups in Namibia. Tuuthikeni Market enhances resident participation to help build economic and social capital. Luise Taakambadhala Mwanyangapo expanded its project by producing paving blocks and plastic lumber made from recycled plastic. Other than serving as an Executive Board Member of the Namibia Book Fair (NBF), her fellowship involved serving as a Global Shaper for the Windhoek hub instituted by the World Economic Forum from 2014-2016 and she was recently selected as a 2018 Mandela Washington Fellow.
